the official importation day!!! The Mustang, inexpensive 4 personal cars with sporty look is introduced to the public. Mustang hardtops and convertibles hit in the salesrooms of the Ford traders in the whole country all up to now been there one. The standard motorisation is 6 cylinders 2.8ltr. 1-fold carburettor engine (170-1V). As an addition there was of beginning a V-8 2-fold Carburettor engine with 4.2ltr. (260-2V), later a V-8 4-fold Carburettor engine with 4.7ltr. (289-4V), better known than the D code 289 engines.

the brand-new Mustang Fastback is offered in the salesrooms of the Ford traders in the whole country. At the same time the engine list is renewed: the old 170 cid 6 cylinders in-line engine is substituted with the cubic capacity-stronger 200 cid. The D code 289 is substituted with the performance-stronger 289-4V A code with 225 HP. 289-2V, known as a C code engine, is also offered. The old High performance engine from the class 1964 ½ is taken over furthermore.

The GT implementation is taken up in the range of products with. They contain a special interior arrangement, disc brakes in front, nebulous lamps, GT stripes, GT emblems, chrome plated bonnet moulding, 5-fold Amaturen and 2 fold Exhaust system with chrome plated end pieces.
the Mustang in '66 debuts with small changes in different mouldings. The engine range is completely taken over from the 65th class.
the Mustang stylish completely anew in '67 is introduced. A dramatically looking Fastback whose roof bevelling goes up to the end of the luggage compartment lid causes the sensation. The engine compartment is increased to take up 390 Thunderbirds Special engine. This is the first Big block engine in a Mustang. The remaining engine range is taken over from 66iger class.
